This is a very well-written, clear, concise guide to how to correctly go about designing and implementing a Pay Per Click advertising campaign. While the book focuses on Google Adwords, the techniques can be applied to most other PPC search engines, since the basic concepts are the same, no matter where you are advertising.
Make no mistake. This isn't some basic guide that shows you how to set up a PPC account and it most definitely is not full of fluff.
This is a manual for getting Adwords advertising right, and getting results. Marshall goes in depth on how he sets up and tests a campaign, and tracks his results. He shows you step-by-step how to minimize your costs while maximizing your click-throughs, giving you the largest return on your advertising dollar.
Personally, I found this ebook well worth its cost. Within an hour of reading it, I had made some modifications to my PPC campaigns that saved me far more in the next month than I paid for the ebook. In retrospect, I wish I had bought it much sooner, since I had spent many times the cost of the book on wasted PPC ads that brought me minimal sales.
After a second reading, I was able to identify some additional serious errors that I was making. Two simple changes recommended in the book cut my PPC advertising cost by 50% to 75%, while allowing me to increase my net "click-through" rates by as much as 15 times on a couple of my campaigns, and to see at least some improvement on virtually all of my campaigns. The book easily paid for itself with my savings.
